Designed by Fred Hawtree, the Beaufort Course at Chipping Sodbury is widely acknowledged as a superb parkland course with water hazards featuring on many holes. The greens are considered among the best in the Bristol area, and with a variety of tees, the course is both accessible and challenging to all standards of golfers.

The club is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, at the foot of the Cotswold Hills, adjacent to the historic 17th century market town of Chipping Sodbury. The Club has hosted numerous championships across the years, most recently the English County Finals in 2009, English Senior County Finals in 2016 and PGA West Region Championship in 2015.
